The Soluna Ritual™: Inside the Two-Hour Luxury Facial in Colorado Springs

There is a moment, somewhere in the second hour of The Soluna Ritual™, when a client stops tracking time. The warm towels have come and gone more than once. The room is quiet. Her breathing has slowed. She has forgotten about the email she meant to send and the errand she was going to squeeze in afterward. That moment is the reason I built this facial.

The Soluna Ritual™ is the most luxurious facial on my menu at Soluna Vee Spa in Colorado Springs, and it is the one treatment I designed to be the complete experience of this studio in a single visit. This post walks you through what it is, what happens during those two hours, who it is for, and how to decide whether it is the right facial for you.

What The Soluna Ritual™ Is

The Soluna Ritual™ is a two-hour luxury facial that blends results-driven corrective skin care with deep, unhurried relaxation. It is fully customized after a professional skin analysis, which means no two Rituals are exactly alike. Your skin, your goals, and how you feel that day shape every step.

The name comes from the studio itself. Soluna is sun and moon together: the brightness of visible results and the calm of true rest. A ritual is something done with intention, not in a hurry. Put those together and you have the promise of this treatment. Never rushed. Always intentional.

What Happens During the Two Hours

Every Ritual follows a thoughtful rhythm, with the products and techniques chosen for your skin. Here is what you can expect.

A real conversation and a close look at your skin

We begin by talking. I want to know what your skin has been doing, what you have tried, what frustrates you, and what you are hoping for. Then I analyze your skin under good light. This is where the Ritual becomes yours.

Aromatic steam and a double cleanse

Warm steam softens the skin and opens the door for everything that follows. A gentle double cleanse removes makeup, sunscreen, and the day. The first warm towel usually arrives here, and so does the first deep breath.

Customized exfoliation

Depending on your skin, this may be a fruit enzyme, a gentle professional acid, or a polishing treatment. The goal is smoother, brighter skin that can actually absorb what comes next. Exfoliation is always matched to your skin's tolerance, never pushed past it.

Extractions, only where needed

If your skin needs it, extractions are done carefully and precisely. If it does not, we skip them. The Ritual is about what your skin needs, not a checklist.

Double-mask infusion

This is one of my favorite parts. Two masks, layered or sequenced for your skin, deliver hydration, calm, brightness, or firmness while you rest. Warm towel cocooning follows, wrapping you in comfort while the masks do their work.

Gua Sha or Ice Globe sculpting

Cool, smooth tools glide across the face to refresh, soothe, and sculpt. Clients often say this is the moment they feel their face "wake up" while the rest of them stays deeply relaxed.

Calming pressure-point techniques

Gentle pressure-point work for the face, neck, and décolleté releases the tension most of us carry without noticing. Jaw, temples, brow, neck, shoulders. This is where the second hour earns its name.

Hand and arm glow treatment

While your masks are working, your hands and arms receive their own care: exfoliation, hydration, and softness. Hands show stress and sun as much as faces do, and they deserve attention too.

Hydration, protection, and your home plan

The Ritual finishes with serums, moisturizer, and sunscreen chosen for your skin. Before you leave, I walk you through a simple home care plan so the results keep going. No pressure, no product dumping, just clear guidance.

Enhancements You Can Add

The Ritual is complete on its own, and some clients like to go further:

  • Nanoneedling Infusion. A gentle, non-invasive treatment that enhances serum absorption, smooths texture, and brightens, with no downtime.

  • LED Light Therapy. Professional light therapy for uneven tone and visible redness while you simply relax.

  • Collagen Eye Renewal. Collagen-infused eye pads to hydrate, plump, and reduce the look of puffiness.

Tell me what you are curious about when you book, and I will let you know whether it fits your skin that day.

Who The Soluna Ritual™ Is For

This facial is ideal for:

  • Skin that is showing its age. Fine lines, loss of firmness, and dullness respond beautifully to the combination of correction and deep hydration.

  • Dull or uneven skin tone. Customized exfoliation and the double-mask infusion bring back light and evenness.

  • Dehydrated skin. Colorado's dry, high-altitude air pulls moisture from the skin year-round. The Ritual puts it back.

  • Anyone who is tired. Not just tired skin. Tired people. Caregivers, nurses, teachers, business owners, new parents, anyone who has not had two hours to herself in longer than she can remember.

  • A milestone or a gift. Birthdays, anniversaries, the week before a wedding, the week after a hard season. The Ritual makes a meaningful gift because it gives someone time, not just a treatment.

Who Should Choose a Different Facial

The Ritual is not the right starting point for everyone, and I would rather guide you to the right facial than sell you the longest one.

  • If you have never had a facial and want to ease in, the Essential Reset™: Express Facial (45 minutes, $75) is a wonderful first step. I wrote a full guide for beginners: Your First Facial: What to Know Before You Book in Colorado Springs.

  • If your main goal is correcting a specific concern like acne, dark spots, or texture, The Sol Facial: Anti-Aging Facial (90 minutes, $175) focuses the time on correction.

  • If your skin is very reactive, sensitive, or recovering, The Luna Facial: Hydrating Facial (75 minutes, $145) keeps everything gentle and calming.

  • If you are managing cancer treatment or fragile skin, Compassionate Therapy™ is designed specifically for you.

Not sure? A Personalized Skin Consultation ($50, applied toward a treatment booked the same day) lets us decide together.

The Ritual Compared to a Chemical Peel

Clients sometimes ask whether they should book the Ritual or a peel. They do different jobs. A peel is a focused resurfacing treatment, often done in a series, with a few days of visible flaking afterward. The Ritual is a complete facial with correction, hydration, and relaxation, and you leave glowing with no downtime. How to Get the Most From Your Ritual

A few simple things help your skin and your experience:

  1. Pause strong actives for three to five days before. Retinol, at-home peels, and scrubs should rest so your skin arrives calm.

  2. Skip waxing, threading, and heavy sun in the days before.

  3. Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in rather than rush in. Soluna Vee Spa is inside Luxe Cosmetic Studios on Woodmen Road; enter Suite 100 and find Studio 6.

  4. Plan nothing demanding afterward. The best way to end the Ritual is slowly.

  5. Follow your home plan. Your results live at home between visits.

How Often to Book the Ritual

Many clients book The Soluna Ritual™ once a month as their standing appointment, the one thing on the calendar that is only for them. Others alternate it with a shorter facial, or save it for the start of each season. There is no wrong rhythm. If you want help deciding, read How Often Should You Get a Facial? A Realistic Schedule for Colorado Springs Skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is The Soluna Ritual™ worth it compared to a shorter facial?

If you want both visible results and real rest in one visit, yes. The extra time is not filler. It is where the double-mask infusion, sculpting, pressure-point work, and hand and arm care live. Shorter facials are wonderful for maintenance; the Ritual is the full experience.

Will my skin be red afterward?

Most clients leave glowing with little to no redness. Mild pinkness after exfoliation or extractions fades within an hour or two.

Can I wear makeup after?

You can, but most clients do not want to. Your skin looks its best bare for the rest of the day and the days that follow.

Is it good for men?

Absolutely. The Ritual is customized for every skin, and men love the pressure-point work and the no-nonsense results.

Can I buy it as a gift?

Yes. Gift cards are available, and the Ritual is a beautiful gift for someone who needs real rest.

Do you offer the Ritual in Spanish?

Sí. Every consultation and treatment is offered in English or Spanish.
